Outreach and education
Two international conferences, in the middle and at the end of the project. A Climate Change Education Toolkit with resources on climate science, impacts, mitigation, and adaptation for different age groups and learning settings. A network of climate change ambassadors working with local communities. Workshops, webinars, summer schools, public seminars, and a series of videos. A guide for integrating the history of climate and society into environmental public policy, and a workshop for educators on the social-ecological perspective.
Open science and data
All publications will be openly available through Green or Gold Open Access, with fees budgeted. Research data will be managed according to FAIR principles and deposited in open repositories such as Zenodo, the European Nucleotide Archive, the Archaeological Data Service, GenBank, Pleiades, and Mendeley Data, with persistent identifiers and metadata following Dublin Core and DataCite standards.
